A Whole New Level...

The Ethics Bowl Like It Has Never Been Done Before

 

It’s finally here! With the explosive success of the High School Bowl, demand for the competition has expanded to the collegiate level. 2025 will kick off Canada’s first College Ethics Bowl, rallying students across the country to a world-class arena of ideas and ideals.

 

 

Who?

 

Any student from a Canadian post-secondary institution is eligible.

Why?

$1000 cash prize.

Networking with faculty across Canada.

Cultivating invaluable skills for your professional future.

How?

Form a team of 2-4 members.

Register for the Virtual Qualifiers.

Prepare six ethics bowl cases.

 

Virtual Qualifiers

 The College Bowl journey begins with a virtual qualifier where teams from around the country will compete for a chance to attend the national championships set to take place downtown Toronto next summer.  

Each team is guaranteed three matches during the virtual qualifiers. The top eight teams advance to nationals. 

2024-25 College Cases

Each participating team must present their position on six complex, topical ethics cases.

National College Championships

2025 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences 
George Brown College, Toronto Ontario

In June, the top 8 teams from the qualifiers will compete in person at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Canada’s largest academic gathering.

Congress 2025 will be hosted at George Brown College in Downtown Toronto.

Funding for transportation and accommodation costs is available to participating teams who apply.
