Student Organization
Why?
Community
Social media promised to increase connections, but it’s failing. This community delivers. Here you will meet friends who share your work-ethic and together you will make an impact on hundreds of people who need you.
Professionalism
Getting the job done is easy, but getting it done right is something else. Immerse yourself in a community that rewards excellence, promotes creativity, and challenges its members to strive for perfection
Opportunity
When an interviewer asks you “tell me about a meaningful project you’ve worked on” you need an impressive answer. . . this is it. Be the person who seizes opportunity, not the one who lets it slip away.
An Official Branch of Ethics Bowl Canada
The Student Organization (SO) is now an official wing of the EBC network, giving students a formal seat at the table for one of the most rewarding non-profits in the country.
Applications are open to passionate students from every province and territory.
The SO’s impact will far-reaching, its team young, dynamic, and focused. Nothing of its kind exists in Canada. . . until now.
The table is big, but seats are limited. Take yours.

Roles
Director
Highly organized; noticeably self-motivated; incredibly strong leadership skills — that’s what describes a Director at the Ethics Bowl. Directors are responsible for supervising projects, overseeing a team of 5-20 members, handling Senior Associate promotions, and delivering progress-report-presentations to the Co-General Managers of Ethics Bowl Canada.
Experience: Minimum 6 months as Senior Associate
Time commitment: 20-30 hours per month
Senior Associate
Most Senior Associates are former Juniors Associates who wanted to make the jump to a more advanced role with greater responsibility. Seniors are responsible for executing tasks with a high level of precision and confidence. They work closely with their department’s director to ensure projects are completed effectively and on time.
Experience: Minimum 6 months as a Junior Associate
Time commitment: 10-20 hours per month
Junior Associate
Junior Associates are brand-new to the organization; they are looking to get their feet wet by trying a variety of tasks to learn where they excell and how they can best support the organization’s many projects. Some Junior Associate’s are happy to stay right where they are, while others want to move on to become Seniors and maybe even a Director one day. Regardless of your ambition, becoming a Junior Associate is a terrific way to dive into the ethics bowl world.
Experience: Basic understanding of the Ethics Bowl Canada mission
Time commitment: 5-10 hours per month

“
The ethics bowl isn’t simply about helping students think abstractly about moral dilemmas, though that’s important. At its best, the bowl is really about enacting moments of personal and social transformation in the lives of actual, young people.
