Registration Deadline: Friday, October 6th
Let’s face it, every ethics bowler’s dream is to qualify for the national competition. In Ontario, the path to nationals is a winding journey. Every registered team automatically qualifies for a regional event. Regional qualifiers take place at OEB partner universities: Western, Guelph, McMaster, University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan, Queens, and Carleton. A virtual qualifier is available to teams who cannot attend an in-person event.
The top 16 teams from the qualifiers will attend the Ontario Championship (OC), from which the top team will advance to the national finals.

Deciding The Winners
Ethics Bowl participants deliver their arguments before a committee of Canada’s brightest minds, hand-selected from Canada’s esteemed universities. Whichever team delivers the most compelling response to the case in question is judged the tournament’s champion.

The Ethics Bowl is unlike any event of which I’ve been a part. Students experience noticeable development both in their intellectual abilities and, more importantly, in their interpersonal communication.
